 HARMONY TENSIONS

HARMONY AT A GLANCE

In the beginning there was noise. That noise has been organized in many ways. Today, we mostly use twelve-tone equal temperament to organize the noise. 7 notes for diatonic use. 5 notes for non diatonic. Harmony Tensions' design organizes these 12 notes with the circle of fifths. Using it enharmonically, interesting patterns show up for modes as they relate to the tonic.
